For hikers and long-distance hikers who want to experience Duisitzkarsee beyond daylight hours, the Duisitzkarseehütte offers simple, cosy places to sleep right up in the mountains. After a hike through the Obertal, you can unwind here, enjoy the special atmosphere by the lake, and start the next morning refreshed and ready for the new day.

The Duisitzkarseehütte offers dormitory-style sleeping and rooms. With breakfast at the accommodation at Duisitzkarsee in Rohrmoos near Schladming, you’ll fuel up for the next stage of your hike or a relaxed day in the Schladming-Dachstein region.

TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR OVERNIGHT STAY ON THE ALPINE PASTURE

For your overnight stay on the alpine pasture, we recommend a lightweight hut sleeping bag. Plenty of blankets are available. A torch is also handy, especially if you’re moving around the hut in the evening or early in the morning.

Please take into account in your planning that hot water and shower are not part of the equipment of the Duisitzkarseehütte.
